What will you do

A day in the life of a Sr Manager of Supply Chain Loss Prevention at VF looks a little like this.

This role supports both shortage and overall company objectives by managing Loss Prevention activities in VF Corps supply chain network. You will work closely with field LP teams and Corporate Asset Protection partners to identify and resolve theft cases that originate across the network to include multi-site or location cargo theft.

This role will also develop and maintain a strong partnership with Supply Chain Leadership DC Leadership Inventory Control Logistics and DC Operations. Further this role will assess data and work through root cause analysis to identify shortage trends and implement proactive measures to mitigate shortage risk. You will also routinely visit DC and Supply Chain locations to ensure execution of LP objectives operational processes that impact shortage and physical security standards.

Lastly there will be an expectation to communicate opportunities to relevant leaders and work in concert to implement action plans to improve or impact.

Lets break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

  • Create best practices and implement new policies protocol and procedures for protection of all assets from Dock to Store.

  • Collaborate and partner with Supply Chain Leadership DC Leadership Logistics Inventory Control DC Operations Field AP Store Operations etc. to drive LP key objectives and shortage programs to mitigate shortage exposures.

  • Assess develop and implement shortage awareness programs across the Supply Chain and DC network.

  • Lead Internal and External Investigations in conjunction with field LP teams and the Corporate Asset Protection team to identify and resolve complex theft and fraud cases that originate out of DCs and other points across the network.

  • Lead Cargo Theft investigations that impact the overall network or specific sites. This includes the implementation of technology or investigative techniques to support these investigations (including GPS task force inclusion etc.)

  • Develop and routinely conduct visits designed to validate locations are executing LP objectives operational processes that impact shortage and physical security standards.

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and DC Inventory team to validate financial adjustments ensure inventory accuracy and provide detailed reporting.

  • Lead the CTPAT compliance and investigations process in accordance with local and federal laws. Serve as corporate liaison and partner on CTPAT matters impacting the organization.

  • Work closely with Supply Chain Leadership DC Leadership and Corporate AP teams to assess refine and analyze results from site visits. Make recommendations on how to improve shortage execution and physical security.

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Leadership DC Inventory field and corporate LP leadership as well as cross-functional partners to identify issues and develop a dynamic response to shortage trends including coaching tactical training communication and assessment.

  • Train LP Field and Stores teams around best practices and their role in sharing and identifying potential shortage activity.

What do you need to succeed

Additionally while formal education in a related field is great to have we are most interested in your 8 years of Logistics Supply Chain and Loss Prevention related experience.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

  • Strategic understanding of the retail loss prevention and security environment with a proven record of influencing change.

  • Experience working cargo theft investigations and leveraging industry standards tools and techniques (GPS task force etc.)

  • Experience in distribution / supply chain environment and physical security expertise.

  • Experience influencing teams and implementing investigative strategies.

  • Ability to analyze results develop conclusions and implement strategies based on analysis experience benchmarking and innovation/technology research.

  • Strong functional knowledge of business tools such as Excel Power Point Word required.

  • Travel is required to all markets within areas of responsibility.

  • Location - remote work is an option for this position.

There are also a few skills that are not but preferred.

  • Bachelors Degree is preferred.
  • Wicklander-Zulawski Interviewing Certificate and CFI (Certified Forensic Interviewer) a plus.

Hiring Range:

$108000.00 USD - $135000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan sales incentive orcommissionpotential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
