Our Floor Tech team is responsible for keeping our community and resident areas clean and addition to ensuring clean and comfortable surroundings Environmental Services also replenish toiletries and store housekeeping equipment. We are seeking a very special candidate for this important role! We offer perks such as free meals team member appreciation events flexible scheduling and generous paid time off. PRIMARY JOB DUTIES

  • Perform general housekeeping duties which meet or exceed TheChesapeakes care and service standards.
  • Clean and service public/common areas.
  • Dust and damp mop all assigned areas and/or vacuum carpeted areas usingequipment as assigned.
  • Maintain all hard surface floor areas in assigned areas burnishing to maintainhigh-gloss polished appearance.
  • Scrub and refinish hard surface floor areas in assigned areas following adesignated time schedule.
  • Clean walls as needed.
  • Clean and service Resident areas as assigned by dusting polishingvacuuming mopping shampooing etc.; dust floors furniture and equipmentwindowsills etc.; arrange furniture and equipment in an orderly fashion.
  • Complete Assigned work in the order of Priority set by Supervisor.
  • Properly dispose of refuse and recyclables adhering to proper InfectionControl Standards.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies so as to avoid waste damage to areas andequipment and to prevent accidents.
  • Maintain Utility Rooms Clean and Organized.
  • Practice Positive Resident Relations; respond to Resident requests and direct
  • Resident feedback and requests to Supervisor.
  • Adhere to Residents personal and property rights; maintain confidentiality ofall Resident information.
  • Comply with all Infection Control Policies and Procedures.
  • Responsible for following all proper safety procedures in the handling of allHousekeeping equipment and products.
  • Responsible to practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.
  • Adhere to The Chesapeakes standards of appearance; comply with TheChesapeakes hygiene and health standards for Environmental ServicesPersonnel.
  • Participate in all fire and safety drills in-service meetings and departmentalprograms as assigned.
  • Be able work outside in variable weather conditions to accomplish tasks.
  • Ability to use equipment such as power washer and blower to clean outsideareas as directed.
  • Perform Other Duties as Assigned by Immediate Supervisor .
  • Report all concerns & questions to supervisor

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with Supervisor otheremployees Residents and families.
  • Ability to provide Environmental Services in Health Care Environment whichmeet or exceed The Chesapeakes quality care and service standards.
  • Willingness to work with Seniors.
  • Ability to lift objects in excess of 50 pounds walk stand and stoop forextended periods of time ability to push pull or lift heavy objects such as cartsand small pieces of furniture.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Physical requirements include heavy work as defined as the exertion of up to 100 poundsof force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 poundsof force constantly to move objects
