This role is pivotal in accelerating growth achieving key performance indicators and ensuring our valued Colgate-Palmolive products reach an even wider customer base.

Position Title: eCommerce Business Development Manager

Department: Marketing

Reports to: eCommerce Team Lead

Location: Indonesia

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the eCommerce CD team and cross-functional departments to identify and prioritize growth strategies for Indonesia.

  • Manage end-to-end planning and execution of promotional activities and marketplace accounts across Indonesia.

  • Lead the overall vision & roadmap and omnichannel strategies

  • Drive channel and category strategic development including defining key portfolio product assortment & pricing for each platform

  • Management of promotion and monitor competitor activities and reinforce promotional activity grid when needed to make recommendations that ensures healthy growth of customers

  • Conduct performance analysis and customer implications of the product promotion and pricing to recommend action plans to the team

  • Apply shopper and customer insights to develop eCommerce strategy on product promotion and pricing to drive growth.

  • Understand brand plans to sync with eCommerce brand activations and customers calendar

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and resolve business issues

  • Continuously improve investment efficiency & products P&L with focus on trade spending & promotion and ensure expenses are in line with budget




Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Develop shopper activities promotional plans & campaigns.

  • Sustainably increase shopper penetration and conversion.

  • Monitor weekly performance closely to identify areas of success and improvement.

  • Analyze data to understand sales performance and demographic trends.

  • Monitor online and offline store ratings.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Educational Qualifications: Business-related degrees or a Digital Marketing degree.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of eCommerce experience coupled with FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) experience.

  • Brand/Trade marketing/Customer Development experience would be an advantage

  • Digital marketing experience

  • Strategic analytical thinking ability and a well-developed business understanding and commercial sense to identify opportunities and grow the business

  • Strong learning ability and creative thinking.

  • Good communication and negotiation skills

  • Able to work independently

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $ - $ USD

Pay is determined based on experience qualifications and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses profit-sharing and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical dental vision basic life insurance paid parental leave disability coverage and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employees hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
