As a Senior Manager Business Planning & Analysis supporting Research & Development (R&D) you will act as a strategic finance partner to the Global R&D organization. You will be responsible for enabling data-driven decisions that maximize the value of Alcons innovation portfolio. The successful candidate will lead financial planning reporting and analysis activities across R&D franchises ensuring optimal resource allocation and portfolio prioritization.

In this role a typical day will include:

• Partnering with R&D leadership to evaluate and prioritize innovation investments.
• Providing financial modeling and scenario analysis to support go/no-go decisions and portfolio trade-offs.
• Leading month-end close rolling forecasts and annual target-setting processes.
• Delivering clear concise variance analysis with actionable commentary.
• Owning dashboards and reporting tools that track Key Performance Indicators across P&L CapEx and project spend.
• Supporting strategic planning cycles including Strat Plan TGT and productivity initiatives.
• Providing ad hoc analysis and presentations for senior leadership and franchise leads.
• Simplifying and automating financial processes to improve speed and accuracy.
• Designing and implementing tools/templates that enhance planning and reporting efficiency.

WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school15 yrs; Assoc.11 yrs; M.S.4 yrs; PhD3 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English
• 7 Years of Relevant Experience
