Job Summary
Are you a law student with a keen interest in compliance governance and commercial operations ERGO Nordic is looking for a Commercial Compliance Assistant to support our Commercial Division in ensuring adherence to internal frameworks and regulatory expectations.
About the Role
As a student assistant youll play a key role in promoting a strong compliance culture by supporting operational tasks documentation and audit preparation. This is a part-time position (approx. 15 hours/week) ideal for someone currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Law or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
- Support compliance with ERGOs Norms Framework Policies & Guidelines
- Assist in maintaining documentation and registers
- Help prepare materials for audits
- Contribute to compliance-related process descriptions and internal instructions
- Participate in awareness and training initiatives
- Collaborate with Legal & Compliance Risk Management and Audit teams
What Were Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Analytical mindset and interest in compliance
- Effective communicator with a collaborative attitude
- High integrity and respect for confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint SharePoint)
- Ideally some knowledge of IDD GDPR DORA Contract Law or Insurance Law
Language & Location
- Strong professional proficiency in English and a local language
- Familiarity with other Scandinavian languages is a plus
Education
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Law or related discipline
