Were seeking a hands-on Controllerfor our client in Clearwater to oversee all aspects of our accounting and IT operations within a dynamic manufacturing setting. This position plays a key leadership roledriving financial accuracy operational efficiency and strategic insight across the organization.

Financial Management
Lead all accounting functions ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP.
Manage budgeting forecasting and monthly variance analysis to support business goals.
Analyze product line profitability manufacturing costs and inventory valuation to optimize pricing and margins.
Prepare and monitor forecasts for revenue EBITDA and cash flow performance.
Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic recommendations that support growth and cost efficiency.
Auditing Compliance & Internal Controls
Oversee internal and external audit processes.
Establish maintain and enforce robust internal controls and accounting policies.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical financial standards.
Leadership & Team Development
Direct and mentor the Accounting and IT teams fostering a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
Conduct performance reviews identify skill gaps and encourage professional development.
Operational & Manufacturing Support
Oversee cost accounting systems shop floor data integration and inventory control accuracy.
Collaborate with operations and production to drive efficiency cost reduction and profitability.
Support cross-functional projects aimed at process improvement and performance enhancement.
Additional Duties
Lead or participate in system implementations and special projects.
Provide cross-training within finance and IT to ensure operational continuity.
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (required)
MBA or advanced degree (preferred)
57 years of progressive accounting leadership in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of cost accounting inventory management and production-related financial analysis
Proven success implementing internal controls and working with ERP/manufacturing systems
Licenses & Certifications
CPA or CMA designation (preferred)
