Location: Greater Des Moines

Work Arrangement: Hybrid Onsite Tuesday through Thursday each week. Candidate must reside within a 50-mile radius of Johnston IA.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our agile development team within the SPD/FRIP area supporting high-level research initiatives. This role involves designing developing and maintaining multi-tier high-performance web-based desktop applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain full-stack applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
Collaborate closely with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and workflows.
Apply problem-solving skills and attention to detail to deliver high-quality scalable software solutions.
Ensure adherence to FS&Ds software engineering standards including architecture UI/UX and development practices.
Promote and follow established coding standards and engineering methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a full-stack developer.

Technical Competencies:

Proficiency in full-stack development using:
- Languages & Frameworks: C# JavaScript Angular 8 SQL WPF
Experience with:
- Azure DevOps
- OData
- .NET Reflection
- MS SQL and advanced SQL (including reading and understanding stored procedures)
- Azure Cloud Services including Service Bus or Event Hub for event management
