Business Development Manager – Oil & Gas / Maritime
Location: Central Jakarta Full-Time On-Site
We’re hiring! People Search International is representing our client — a leading Oil & Gas and Maritime Services Contractor — seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive business growth across offshore subsea and port logistics sectors.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall business development and sales strategy to achieve annual growth targets.
- Identify and secure new clients and opportunities within offshore oil & gas renewables subsea and marine logistics.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships; serve as the primary liaison for project delivery.
- Manage full tender and contract cycles—from proposal preparation to negotiation and closure.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify new sectors and diversification opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure service delivery meets client needs.
- Track and report on key metrics such as revenue tender success rate and client retention.
- Ensure contract compliance with legal and internal SOP standards.
- Represent the company at industry events and client meetings to enhance market visibility.
- Lead and develop the BD team to strengthen performance and business impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing Shipping or Maritime Studies.
- 5–8 years’ experience in business development or commercial roles in offshore marine or logistics.
- Proven track record in winning contracts with oil companies EPC contractors and port operators.
- Strong understanding of offshore vessels operations and industry practices.
- Excellent strategic thinking negotiation and communication skills; decisive and results-driven.
