This role is ideal for a hands-on individual with strong fault-finding and preventative maintenance skills particularly within an industrial setting.

Electrical Installation & Maintenance
- Install and maintain electrical systems control panels and distribution components
- Troubleshoot and repair faults ensuring minimal downtime
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Perform scheduled maintenance on machines and equipment
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs efficiently
- Source and install spares in line with operational needs
- Maintain statutory registers and liaise with service providers
- Maintain buildings and infrastructure to required standards
- Complete basic electrical and plumbing tasks as needed
- Adhere to quality management systems and GMP protocols
- Ensure equipment and workspace comply with safety standards
- Enforce safe working practices and compliance with health and safety policies
- Participate in HACCP and health & safety committee activities
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Requirements:
- Trade Test Certificate Electrician
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical systems and maintenance
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Physically fit and able to work shifts and heights
- Available for standby duty (1 week in every 3)
- Good communication problem-solving and planning skills
- Understanding of HACCP and ISO systems is beneficial
