Job Summary
The Benefits Coordinator supports the administration and communication of employee benefits programs ensuring employees understand and can access the benefits available to them. This role helps maintain compliance accuracy and excellent service across all benefit-related processes.
Key Responsibilities
Support with the administration of employee benefits programs including health dental vision life insurance disability and retirement plans.
Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding benefits eligibility and enrollment.
Support open enrollment activities including employee communications.
Process benefits enrollments changes and terminations accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with payroll to ensure correct benefits deductions.
Maintain accurate benefits records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g. COBRA ACA etc.).
Assist with benefit invoice reconciliation and reporting.
Support wellness and employee engagement initiatives related to benefits.
Support other HR and Payroll-related projects.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree
12 years of experience in HR or benefits administration preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficient in HRIS preferably in Workday and Microsoft Office Suite.
The hourly rate range for this position is $28.00 to $31.00 per hour.
