Customer Service Representative Child Care Services San Antonio TX
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m. (1-hour lunch break)
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience Level: 3 years of professional customer service or call center experience
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in supporting clients by providing exceptional service and accurate information related to Child Care Services. This position is responsible for managing inbound calls resolving inquiries efficiently and ensuring accurate documentation of each interaction. The ideal candidate thrives in a professional fast-paced and high-volume call center environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and handle inbound calls from clients regarding Child Care Services inquiries and issues.
  • Provide accurate information guidance and solutions based on client needs and program policies.
  • Access and review client information in databases to assist with questions and requests.
  • Document all calls thoroughly including the reason for contact resolution provided and any follow-up actions needed.
  • Maintain professionalism empathy and attention to detail during every client interaction.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure consistent service standards.
  • Manage fluctuating call volumes throughout the week while maintaining service-level expectations.
  • Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and organizational policies at all times.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional call center or customer service role.
  • Bilingual - English / Spanish highly preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems and databases efficiently.
  • Proven ability to handle high-volume inbound calls with accuracy and composure.
  • Excellent problem-solving documentation and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and reliability in attendance and performance.
