Cylinder Technician

In this hands-on role youll play a key part in keeping our energy laboratory operations running smoothly maintaining and transporting sample cylinders that are critical to our clients success.

What Youll Do

• Clean and maintain sample cylinders utilized in laboratory testing;
• Safely transport client samples to and from designated locations in accordance with company procedures;
• Ensure full compliance with chain-of-custody requirements and established sample handling protocols;
• Maintain accurate and complete records of all sample pickups deliveries and maintenance activities;
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients laboratory personnel and other stakeholders;
• Ensure all work areas are consistently maintained in a clean orderly and hazard-free condition in accordance with organizational policies and safety regulations;
• Adhere to all company safety policies and actively participate in required safety training programs;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education;
• Prior experience preferred but not required;
• Valid Texas drivers license with acceptable driving record;
• Driver safety and chemical plant safety training is a plus;
• Strong attention to detail time management and communication skills;
• Basic proficiency in reading writing and arithmetic.

Your Schedule and The Fine Print

• Full-time position with a standard MondayFriday eight-hour schedule;
• Flexibility to work beyond regular hours as needed to meet business demands;
• Requires extensive driving between client sites and remote locations.
