Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Receiving Agent to join our team As a Receiving Agent you will play a crucial role in our organisations inventory management and logistics operations ensuring the smooth flow of goods and accurate record-keeping.
- Receive and inspect all incoming goods verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders
- Notify relevant departments upon arrival of goods
- Properly secure received items in designated storage areas
- Maintain accurate records of received goods using our inventory management system
- Process and file completed purchase orders according to established procedures
- Fulfil department requisitions in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist with regular inventory counts and reconciliations
- Maintain a clean and organised receiving area
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient warehouse operations
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines in the warehouse
