Position Title: Program Manager
Location: Sofia Bulgaria
The Program Manager is responsible for leading coordinating and overseeing strategic programs that span multiple projects teams and departments. The role ensures alignment between business objectives and execution manages interdependencies mitigates risks and drives the successful delivery of organizational initiatives. The Program Manager provides governance reporting and stakeholder engagement to ensure consistent and measurable value delivery across the portfolio.
What youll do:
Define initiate and manage large-scale programs ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Develop and maintain program charters plans roadmaps and schedules.
Coordinate interdependent projects ensuring timely and quality delivery of outcomes.
Manage program risks issues and dependencies ensuring effective mitigation strategies are in place.
Establish and maintain program governance frameworks and reporting mechanisms.
Track progress using appropriate tools and provide transparent reporting to senior management.
Facilitate regular program reviews retrospectives and steering committee meetings.
Engage and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate alignment between cross-functional teams product owners and department heads.
Serve as the primary escalation point for program-related matters.
Promote adoption of agile practices and continuous improvement across teams.
Support delivery teams in implementing best practices in project and program management.
Ensure efficient use of resources and maximize business value delivery
Provide direction and mentorship to project managers and team members.
Monitor performance against KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Drive programe governance risk management and controls to maintain accountability transparency and consistency across delivery.
Lead key governance forums including steering committees executive stakeholder reviews and retrospectives.
Skilled at monitoring and controlling milestones spanning several projects and agile teams
What youll bring:
Extensive experience delivering and managing large-scale IT Infrastructure Cloud or Technology Transformation programmes.
Strong Background in product development or software delivery particularly in Sports Betting and 3rd party vendor integrations
Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting forecasting and financial management.
Bachelors degree in Business Information Technology Engineering or related field (Masters degree preferred).
Minimum 57 years of program or project management experience.
Proven track record of leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
Experience managing distributed or remote teams.
PMP PgMP SAFe Agilist or Agile/Scrum Master certification.
Proficiency with program management and collaboration tools (e.g. JIRA Confluence Asana Trello MS Project).
Strong understanding of Agile Waterfall and hybrid methodologies.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
