About the role:
The Technical Quality Manager leads and manages quality activities related to Dead-On-Arrival (DOA) spare parts ensuring supplier compliance through thorough root cause analysis and corrective actions. The role drives strategic improvement plans and works closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen product reliability and elevate customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and control quality activities with a proactive approach working closely with each failure owner to ensure technical excellence
- Identify track and classify Dead-On-Arrival (DOA) issues related to suppliers and repair centers applying structured data analysis to monitor trends and risks
- Investigate root causes of DOA cases and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively across the supply chain
- Communicate DOA activities progress updates and KPI trends to stakeholders ensuring transparency and alignment with project management practices
- Engage with service teams and customers to gather feedback identify improvement opportunities and strengthen product reliability
- Collaborate with failure owners to resolve recurring issues and prevent reoccurrence through technical problem-solving
- Establish inventory containment and recall processes for defective spare items to safeguard operational integrity
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with corporate quality standards leveraging data-driven insights and cross-functional project management
- Attending regular weekly update calls with different teams within the organization
- Actively communicate via email to respond to related questions
- Proactively address upcoming issues and suggest solutions to Team Lead
- Adhere to feedback addressed by TL
- Actively participate in training newcomers / colleagues
Requirements:
- At least 3 years in quality engineering supplier quality or spare parts lifecycle management
- Experience in supplier quality audits and compliance spare parts lifecycle and earlylife reliability improvement and applying continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma is a plus
- Excellent communication in English / C1
- Experience in MS Office & SharePoint
- Expertise in Root Cause Analysis methodologies (A3 5 Whys Fishbone FMEA)
- Ability to interpret technical information including datasheet reading and diagnose electronic and mechanical issues
- Experience in data analysis and KPI reporting to support reliability and quality improvements
- Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in complex projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present findings clearly
- Strong reporting capabilities to ensure transparency and alignment across teams and leadership
- Familiarity with SNOW systems Windchill Quality dashboards and tracking tools (Tableau)
- Good Team player.
