Summary: The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients visitors and staff providing a welcoming and professional environment. This role is responsible for greeting and assisting guests answering and directing phone calls managing front desk operations and supporting administrative functions to ensure smooth office operations. Will utilize Microsoft Teams to communicate with staff directly on a daily basis notifying them of client arrival needs and services requested.
Position Responsibilities:
* Greet visitors warmly determine their needs and direct them to the appropriate staff or department.
*Answer screen and forward incoming calls; take and relay messages accurately.
*Provide information about agency programs services and procedures.
*Maintain a welcoming clean and organized reception area
*Assist clients requesting food assistance from for the Food Pantry and document all services in agencies database Charity Tracker and complete any intake paperwork.
*Assist clients needing donations from the office Clothes closet. Ensure all services and client information is logged into the agencies database.
Relay important updates and changes in office operations to visitors and staff.
Work closely with the Office Manager to ensure front desk operations align with agency policies and procedures.
Assist in coordinating events community outreach activities and donation distributions as directed.
Must complete all required professional development assigned in a timely manner.
Adherence to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral is mandatory.
Must be sensitive to the service populations cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.

Adhering to safety training and protocols on a daily basis and taking precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of self others.
Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization to include but not limited to client names and information services rendered to clients donors names and gifts internal and external investigations or results of any investigations and financial information.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
o High School Diploma or Equivalent; or equivalent of 1-year experience in a receptionist customer service or administrative role.
o Preferred experience in a social service environment that demonstrates a sensitivity and appreciation for diverse cultural populations.
License and Credentials
o Reliable transportation
o Valid driver license
o Valid vehicle insurance
o Must have clean driving record
Minimum Knowledge and Skills:
A solid grasp of data entry software such as excel and adobe.
Skilled in using personal computer various software email and internet
Must be detail oriented organized self-motivated work well independently and on a team.
Must have good written and verbal skills.
Must have good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Bilingual is a plus but not required
