Our expertise extends to various insulation mediums including air gas liquid or solid catering to transmission distribution and generation needs. We seamlessly handle AC/DC conversion across diverse applications from traditional fossil fuels to cutting-edge renewable energy projects and our proficiency extends to working with electrical-mechanical systems seamlessly transitioning from legacy to intelligent protection and control systems. Our recognition in the industry is a testament to our prowess in automation SCADA communication design and engineering.

The Overhead Transmission Engineer conducts the design development implementation and technical analysis of various systems to implement new products or changes to an existing scheme to suit individual client needs. At CHA our Overhead Transmission Engineer works on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client contractual and company requirements.

The Overhead Transmission Engineer monitors progress and performance against the project plan and acts immediately to resolve operational problems and minimize delays as well as recognizes technical discrepancies in analytical results and makes appropriate corrections. The professional in this role identifies develops and gathers technical resources necessary to complete assignments. The Overhead Transmission Engineer completes field assignments when appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering is required
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience is required
• Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of the respective engineering field as well as proven ability to practically apply it in a professional environment
• Proficiency withPLS-Suite andMicrosoft Office software required
• Proficiency in engineering computational and modeling software preferred (AutoCAD MicroStation BlueBeam FAD LPile etc.)
• Understands QA/QC procedures
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
• Desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist more senior staff
• Participation in a professional engineering society/organization is preferred

SALARY RANGE:

$82000 - $92500

Salary is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to qualifications experience education licenses specialty training and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
