About the Role

The Early Childhood Development Worker role at Berry Street sits within the Integrated Family Services Team who works together with The Orange Door as part of the second tier of the child and family services support system.

This role is designed to provide capacity-building opportunities and secondary consultations to the Integrated Family Service Teams across Bass Coast and South Gippsland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing capacity building opportunities and secondary consultations to the Integrated Family Service Teams across Bass Coast and South Gippsland.
  • Supporting Early Years Services via secondary consultations training co-ordination and delivery regarding referrals to The Orange Doors team and Child Protection reporting.
  • Networking and facilitation with relevant stakeholders and responding to local needs in the Early Years sector. Delivery of the role is across Bass Coast and South Gippsland regions.

About You

A minimum Diploma in Education and Care Social Work Community Services or other related field is required. However applicants with relevant experience may be considered at an unqualified rate.

Experience in project work in the welfare sector specifically relating to the early years (0 5yrs) is desirable for this role.
