Job Summary

TEP OpCo LLCis seeking a full-time Archaeological Field Technician in our Denver CO office. As an Archaeological Field Technician you will serve as an integral member of our environmental & cultural resources team. Summary
The individual will primarily provide support and coordination for environmental and cultural resources projects and tasks which includes filed work as well as assist with the preparation of reports. The individual will work under the supervision of a Secretary of the Interior-qualified archaeologist.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in archaeology or a closely related field
Detail oriented with the ability to balance project priorities to ensure successful completion
Ability to perform field work

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Ability to work with office machinery including computers fax machine copier etc.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to work in a team
Excellent attention to detail

Essential Functions
Provide assistance on environmental / archaeological site assessment field work and reports
Perform field activities which may include digging screening photography cataloging and artifact analysis
Perform office activities including project planning permitting subcontractor contracting data compilation and presentation and report preparation
Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to be at site locations (both on the ground and on building roof tops) sit stand walk use both hands and reach and raise items above the head use fingers to feel and handle talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job the employee frequently is required to stoop kneel and crouch lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds
Work Environment
Approximately 75% performed in an external environment on-site outdoors exposed to the elements of nature working under normal construction conditions. Approximately 25% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions.
