The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Supply Chain Team located in Portland OR. This position will support the development maintenance and innovation for supply chain and other operational data reports dashboards tableau reports business insights and support the supply chain organizations mission to operationalize the use of data driven decision making to increase performance overall. This role will also support project management efforts to streamline improve and lean out business processes and KPIs. The BI Analyst will also support leadership team cadence with staff support using the above tools to aid in operationalizing data and information to run the business.
Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders across manufacturing engineering quality etc. to gather reporting requirements define KPIs and translate business needs into technical solutions
Design and build Tableau dashboard reports including modernizing outdated visualizations cleaning up legacy code and optimizing performance
Reverse engineer legacy tools and migrate them to modern analytics platforms
Integrate and model data from multiple internal systems including ERP mart Teradata and other SQL servers and build Python data ingestion scripts to automate processing
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5 years experience using Tableau or Power BI to build dashboards
5 years of experience with SQL server (CTEs indexing database architecture stored procedures)
5 years of experience writing Python scripts
3 years of experience gathering requirements from internal customers and translating business needs into technical solutions
Experience with developing analytics product roadmap and creating implementation plans
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Applied Mathematics Management Information Systems or similar
Familiarity with Oracle Teradata BigQuery
