The Centre-Led Procurement Division is essential to driving operational excellence achieving benefits and managing supplier relationships. Duties & Responsibilities
Includes but is not limited to the following:
- Conduct research on suppliers prepare RFQs and analyse pricing and contract terms to support sourcing initiatives
- Assist in spend analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance supplier value
- Participate in supplier management and relationship-building efforts gaining insights into sustainable procurement practices
- Provide data analysis reporting and documentation support for procurement activities
- Engage in project-based learning with guidance from mentors and coaches to deepen your understanding of procurements strategic role within Unitrans
Minimum Requirements
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Relevant bachelors degree in business administration (BCom) Supply Chain Management Transport and Logistics Procurement Operations Management Accounting and Finance or related field at NQF Level 7 or higher from an accredited institution of higher learning
- Postgraduate business qualification is preferred
- Average grade of 65% or higher
- Drivers license and own transport will be advantageous
