Job Summary
Job Description:
DXC Technology is looking for Cloudera Solution Architect to join Analytics Offering.
DXC Analytics is focused on providing customers innovative solutions and high added value in the following areas: Analytics Solutions and Services Big Data Platforms Information Governance Business Intelligence & Data Management Artificial Intelligence and IoT Analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end Cloudera architectures ensuring scalability performance and security.
- Collaborate with clients and presales teams to define technical solutions aligned with business needs.
- Lead architecture design and migration projects supporting transitions from legacy to Cloudera-based platforms.
- Provide expert advisory on optimization data governance and security best practices contributing to solution blueprints and documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in designing implementing and optimizing Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop Hive HDFS Impala Spark Kafka NiFi etc.).
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical architectures.
- Experience in sizing and capacity planning for Cloudera or similar platforms.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with sales delivery and customer teams.
- Fluent problem-solving and communication skills in English.
Nice to have:
- Cloudera certification(s) such as CCAH CCP Data Engineer or CDP Certified Professional.
- Experience with cloud integration (AWS Azure or GCP) and hybrid architectures.
