Are you a payroll expert with a passion for accuracy and excellent customer service Join our AskHR Payroll Team as a Payroll Specialist where youll play a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy assisting with escalations and providing training support. This position requires independent judgment within established guidelines while collaborating with the AskHR Payroll Manager as needed. Your contributions will directly support affiliate HR departments and enhance their operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities
PayrollAdministration
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for payroll within assigned departments.
- Calculate payroll adjustments including wages PTO balances and alternate rates.
- Perform W-4 and direct deposit maintenance and coordinate pay-related entries.
- Oversee payroll processing ensuring accuracy by working with timekeepers and managers.
- Train timekeepers and team members on Timekeeping software to ensure compliance.
- Analyze reports and data to provide ongoing payroll guidance as the designated Master Timekeeper.
- Clearly communicate errors and adjustments through Case Management.
- Maintain detailed documentation of timekeeping environment setups.

- AssociatesDegreeinAccounting HumanResourcesorBusinessor 2 years payroll experience
- Microsoft Office Suite experience
- Critical thinking skills and detail oriented
- FPCorCPPCertificationpreferred
Experience:
- 3yearsofpayrollexperienceintheareasofadministrationprocessinganalysisand customerservice
Skills:
- MSOffice(ExcelWordOutlook)
- Knowledge of Federal State and local tax regulations
- Complexknowledgeofpayrollprocessingandsoftware.
- Leadership and communication skills around efficiency clarity and diplomacy
- Strong customer service skills and a customer focus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicateeffectivelyandworkwithalllevelsofemployeesthroughouttheUnityPointHealthitssubsidiariesandaffiliates.
- Infor-LawsonandUKG Workforce experience preferred
