Job Summary
As an member of the audio algorithms team this engineer will research and invent novelsolutions for challenging speech and audio problems that directly affect the future ofApple products. This team is part of the Audio & Media Technologies Group in SoftwareEngineering which provides audio video and graphics support across all Appleproducts including iPhone iPad HomePod AirPods Apple TV Mac and Apple Audio Software group is a hardworking group of audio engineers and researchersbuilding high profile features such as FaceTime Siri music playback audio/videocapture and game audio for macOS iOS watchOS and tvOS. We are excited to add amember to our team with the above qualifications!
- PhD in Computer Science or related
- Research experience in audio or speech algorithm development (patents
- papers etc.)
- Experience in machine learning for audio or speech processing
- Experience with multi-microphone algorithm development
- Proven understanding of deep learning toolkits (TensorFlow PyTorch etc.)
- Fluency in Python
- Experience with machine learning methods for video scene understanding a plus
- Experience with speech recognition systems and toolkits a plus
