Production Dishwasher Swing Shift

Are you interested in learning more about artisan bakeries Do you like solo work in a face paced environment Grand Central Bakery is looking for a production dishwasher to support our bakery team.

No experience necessary we are willing to train!

The Production Dishwasher is primarily responsible for the cleaning of all equipment dishes and utensils for Bread Production. The Production Dishwasher prepares ingredients for use in Bread Production. The Dishwasher is responsible for adhering to all FSMA and sanitation requirements.

(This position is represented by BCTGM local 114 and subject to terms of the collective bargaining agreement between Grand Central Bakery and BCTGM local 114. Priority will be given to internal candidates who apply in the first 7 days of the job posting.)

Rate of Pay: This position pays $21.48 per hour.

Schedule: Full-time. Schedule flexibility and the ability to work weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Working knowledge of and ability to speak and understand basic English required
• Maintains food handlers card new hires are expected to have a valid card by their first date of work
• Must demonstrate regular attendance by coming to work on scheduled working days and being on time. May be required to work a variety of days and shifts to meeting business need including weekends and holidays.
• Professional experience as a dishwasher preferred

Physical requirements include but are not limited to:

• This position works in a building shared with production facilities is constantly exposed to wheat flour dust and other grain dusts (rye corn oat).
• This position walks up to the equivalent of two miles per shift.
• This position stands for 100% of the shift worked.
