Job Summary

As a Duty Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the hotel each day. Acting as Manager on Duty you will be the first point of contact for guest enquiries and operational needs while supporting and guiding the wider team. With a balance of leadership attention to detail and forward thinking you will uphold Nobus standards of luxury warmth and crafted hospitality.

You will

  • Oversee the smooth daily running of all hotel departments alongside the management team
  • Act as the primary point of contact for guests colleagues and stakeholders during your shift
  • Monitor budgets and targets motivating the team to achieve and exceed departmental goals
  • Ensure guest profiles room allocations and VIP preparations are accurate and timely
  • Review guest feedback and lead follow ups to continually enhance the guest experience
  • Mentor and develop the team leading by example with professionalism and care
  • Handle escalated queries or complaints resolving them with discretion and confidence
  • Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Uphold company and statutory standards ensuring the safety and wellbeing of guests and colleagues

What Were Looking For

You bring at least one years experience as a Duty Manager in a similar sized luxury hotel. You are confident using OPERA or similar reservation systems and thrive in a role where multitasking clear communication and leadership are key. With a calm and proactive approach you inspire those around you resolve challenges with ease and ensure every guest leaves with a memorable Nobu to work a 4 on/ 4 off shift pattern - 8am - 8pm.
