Our Opportunity

To support our ongoing growth NEPEAN Conveyors NSW are currently seeking a Boilermaker to join our team. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity based in our design and manufacturing facility in Bathurst NSW.

In this facility we work within a team of project managers engineers designers and fabricators on projects large and small.

Daily duties will typically include:

• Workshop and site activities
• Removal and/or repair of existing structures or mechanical components
• MIG and Stick welding
• Air Arc Gauging
• Preparation and installation of structural steel and mechanical assemblies
• Manufacture weld grind drill and polish to trade requirements
• Inspection and Testing

The Right Person

The ideal candidate for this position would have:

• Strong understanding of heavy industry fabrications machining and fitting processes
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Trade Qualification (Cert. III) in Fabrication (Advantageous) or a minimum 2 years weldingexperience
• First aid certificate (Advantageous)
• Working at heights.
• Confined space.
• Class C driver license.
• High risk work license Forklift
• High risk work license Dogging
