Key Account Manager Prescription - Belgium
Territory : West-Wallonia (mainly Brussels area)
The Key Account Manager Prescription will play a pivotal role in the successful launch of Galdermas new biologic and in expanding the current inline portfolio into hospitals. You will be the direct contact for full key (Decision-Making Unit) stakeholders to communicate the value proposition. As the lead executor of the in-field brand strategy you will also be responsible for negotiating add-on contracts and developing customer relationships while maximising opportunities based on strong account plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer and DMU relationship management
Achieve and exceed sales targets within the territory
Develop Smart objectives in line with territory strategy and strategic brand team goals
Handle objections and concerns effectively consistently securing a logical and actionable close on every sales call
Identifie engage and maintain relationships with disease area experts and speakers/advocates.
Create and implement successful regional and local peer-to-peer (P2P) plans that accelerate launch uptake of Galdermas exciting biologic
Map and build strong working relationships with relevant national/regional guideline committees hospital buyers hospitals pharmacists and buying groups to enable implementation of access strategies
Assess opportunities for Galderma within the changing Healhcare environment including integrated health care organisations and provide strategic recommendations to brand teams while identifying key decision-makers for engagement
Territory Management
Continuously analyze market reports and ecosystem insights including social media content
Develop a territory business plan aligned with brand strategy for key accounts
Understand patient flow local ecosystems and key influencers so that key territory plans are appropriately build
Assess customer position within the sales cycle and effectively allocate resources to maximize sales opportunities
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (medical marketing market access) to deploy deliver and implement excellent local business plans in line with strategy and needs to key customers
Support formulary gains at local/ regional level in collaboration with market access teams
Leverage omnichannel approaches to enhance customer engagement and product adoption Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and Galdermas internal standards
Market Intelligence & Strategic Insight
Organize and lead stakeholder meetings at C-level (hospital board HCI buying groups)
Clearly differentiate Galdermas value proposition to assigned stakeholders (physicians)
Share best practice to drive business success across the Brand Teams
Proactively initiate develop and implement a personal growth plan to evolve in the role and prepare for future opportunities
Demonstrate deep expertise in disease areas product knowledge market dynamics and competitive intelligence
Skills & Qualifications :
Experience in selling high costs drugs including launch experience.
Experience in immunology or dermatology is preferred but not mandatory; existing relationships in these areas are a plus
Strong business acumen with ability to convert territory and account insights into actionable plans
Skilled at simplifying and communicating complex medical data through a customer-centric approach
Results-driven and entrepreneurial mindset
Excellent communication influencing and negotiation skills
Proven project management capabilities
Collaborative and cross-functional working style
