Job Summary
- You will develop the PCB Layouts for PMU IC silicon validation purposes- Youll work closely with the Silicon Validation HW teams to understand the board requirements providing help and guidance during the schematic generation stage and proposing design trade-offs for resolution and implementation where appropriate- Assist fellow PCB Layout Engineers in the resolution of critical design problems- Provide competitive and accurate timeline estimates for project planning purposes- In conjunction with your peers define best practice layout methodologies- Delegate PCB layout effort to other team members including contractors when necessary
- BSc in Electrical Engineering or industrial experience equivalent
- Deep knowledge of PCB Layout including signal & power integrity considerations
- Experienced in the design of cutting-edge dense complex PCB including HDI and extra fine pitch BGA fan-out using Cadence Allegro
- Understanding of PCB manufacturing assembly processes and current state of the art
- Experienced in building complex impedance-controlled stack-ups with blind and buried vias
- A detailed understanding of PCB Design tool flows including schematic entry
- Knowledge of DC-DC converters and PMUs (Power Management Units) preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to collaborate work independently and proactively while making sound technical decisions
- Ability to work well on a team take ownership and motivate self and others
