What You Will Do:

The Controls Managerrole is responsible for leading a team of Controls Hardware and Automations Engineers. The team will be responsible for automation project selection and implementation Mechanical design (FEA) Safety design Equipment specifications Failure Mode Effects Analysis Electrical Design Sensor Specification PLC code standardization HMI design for usability and Continuous improvement.

Manage projects from conception to completion developing automation strategies and overseeing system design implementation and transition to operations.
Develop standard practices with involvement in continuous improvement of the controls specification and in alignment with all company and project automation goals.
Focus on execution implementation and validation of operational technology for controls hardware and software.
Responsible for technical leadership project management team development budget management and ensuring that automated systems meet business goals and comply with industry standards

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelors Degree and minimum 8 years experience in an engineering manufacturing operations continuous improvement/process improvement project management or related industrial environment or a Masters degree and minimum 5 years experience in in an engineering manufacturing operations continuous improvement/process improvement project management or related industrial environment
Prior experience in a supervisory/team lead capacity
Demonstrated experience influencing parties within and outside of department at an operational level regarding policies practices and procedures.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD - 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
