This is an open continuous vacancy announcement that will be used to fill adjunct vacancies as they occur. The Office of Graduate and Professional Studies at American University invites applications for a number of adjunct faculty positions for upcoming Academic Years. Rank will depend on an applicants highest degree earned in Economics or a closely related field. The applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

The Office of Graduate and Professional Studies has the following adjunct salary ranges:

Candidates Without a Terminal Degree In Course Subject Area

1-2 Credit Course: $2865

3-4 Credit Course: $4725

5-6 Credit Course: $4938

Candidates With a Terminal Degree In Course Subject Area

1-2 Credit Course: $3414

3-4 Credit Course: $5400

5-6 Credit Course: $5548
