This role is part of Alcons Information Technology function a team that delivers cutting-edge technology solutions to Alcon associates and customers to help our people and the world see brilliantly.

The Associate II Connectivity Security (Science/Tech/Engineering Path) is primarily responsible for supporting security operations to deploy and maintain secure systems and applications. You will apply cybersecurity concepts to protect company data and infrastructure from threats. Specifics include:

Support the monitoring and troubleshooting of system security identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring prompt resolution
Assist in the design and implementation of secure systems and platforms ensuring alignment with cybersecurity best practices and implementing security controls to protect company data and digital platforms from potential threats
Play a key role in maintaining the integrity and security of systems assisting in the prevention of data breaches
Document security activities providing support and evidence during security audits and compliance efforts
Continuously develop knowledge of new security technologies and methodologies
Support the broader ISIA security operations team contributing to the overall security of the companys infrastructure and systems
Make decisions regarding day-to-day operational security tasks during troubleshooting and support of end users working under the guidance of senior engineers and leaders for more complex decisions but being involved in immediate action items

The AD/PKI Operations Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and support of enterprise-level Active Directory and PKI infrastructure. This role ensures secure identity management authentication and certificate services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Active Directory Operations:

  • Manage and maintain multi-domain AD environments.
  • Troubleshoot AD authentication LDAP DNS and replication issues.
  • Administer Group Policies OU structures and user/computer objects.
  • Support AD Federation Services (ADFS) SAML and OAuth integrations.
  • Perform migrations upgrades and patching of AD infrastructure.
  • Monitor system health logs and compliance with security standards.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation of Active Directory and server management tasks.
  • Strong understanding in Azure Entra ID.
  • Familiarity with IAM solutions including authentication authorization SSO MFA and privileged access management (PAM).
  • Having knowledge on solutions like Saviynt Secret Server and Okta is plus.

PKI Operations:

  • Deploy and manage Certificate Authorities (CA) templates and certificate lifecycle.
  • Administer Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) NDES and Autoenrollment.
  • Troubleshooting and supporting on PKI issues.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years in AD and PKI administration in enterprise environments.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
  • Experience with Azure AD hybrid identity models and federation.
  • Collaborate with security teams to enforce IAM policies including privileged access management and certificate services.

Preferred Certifications:

  • MCSE/MCSA or relevant certifications.

Work hours: Morning shift 5 AM to 2 PM Afternoon Shift 1 PM to 10 PM Night shift 8 PM to 5 AM. Every shift is for 2 weeks.
