Job Description:

Job Summary: The Manager of Business Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for preparing coordinating and documenting complex financial analysis and Ad-hoc projects including evaluations of financial and economic performance rate of return working capital and investments. This position supports the Companys business units by delivering actionable financial insights and plays a key role in flight equipment acquisition leveraging data modeling and scenario analysis to guide strategic buy-sell decision-making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare forward-looking financial analyses to support strategic and operational initiatives across the organization.
  • Analyze trends in revenue cost and operational performance across AerSales business lines.
  • Develop and maintain data analytics for improved modeling to evaluate capital investments aircraft acquisitions feedstock opportunities and other business scenarios.
  • Develop helpful and useful reporting for monthly quarterly and annual financial performance ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Develop economic measures to Identify and communicate key trends opportunities and risks to senior leadership through data-driven insights.
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial packages and management reporting for all business units.
  • Actively participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting providing analytical guidance and financial support process improvement where needed
  • Serve as a liaison between FP&A and business unit leaders to maintain up-to-date forecast models and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial and business-related studies to support management decision-making.
  • Provide analytical support for inventory valuation asset utilization and working capital management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding Accounting Operations and Corporate Strategyto ensure alignment of financial data and reporting standards.
  • Drive process improvement and automation within FP&A to enhance reporting efficiency and data quality.
  • Ad Hoc projects as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Requires a bachelors degree.

  • MBA or CPA designation preferred
  • 4-7 years of related experience in a large corporate environment.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Power BI and PowerPoint; experience with ERP systems (e.g. Workday SAP Oracle) and data visualization tools.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP financial consolidation and corporate reporting principles.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage financial models forecasts and variance analyses.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights for leadership.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated initiative integrity and a collaborative mindset.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting at desk.
  • Must be able to use hands and arms for repetitive movements such as movement of wrists hands fingers while typing.
  • May occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 10lbs.
