Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Kitting Production Supervisor to lead our 2nd shift manufacturing team in Ripon WI. As a first-line leader you will guide and support your team to achieve production goals ensure quality standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a leader with hands-on experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments who thrives on coaching problem-solving and developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise team members within your production area to meet daily production schedules and quality goals
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and encourage team members to contribute ideas for process enhancements
Uphold the companys core values demonstrating respect and fairness in all interactions and decisions
Identify and reduce waste while enhancing lean operations and team member skills
Ensure all employees are trained in safety quality standards equipment operation and 6S practices
Collaborate with technical staff to resolve production issues and maintain operational efficiency
Set and track annual goals aligned with production metrics
Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues working with Union Stewards when necessary
Monitor work-in-progress inventory and identify opportunities for process optimization
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Business Manufacturing Engineering or Operations preferred
1-3 years of experience in a medium to high-volume manufacturing environment preferred
Previous manufacturing supervision experience preferred
Professional internship or co-op experience in manufacturing considered relevant

Skills & Abilities:

Proven leadership abilities with a servant leadership mindset including coaching mentoring and team supervision
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to encourage proactive solutions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook Word and Excel
Familiarity with process control production scheduling Kaizen Kanban and Lean manufacturing principles preferred
Self-driven ambitious and capable of motivating and developing a team

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stoop bend and stand for long periods
Manual dexterity required
Able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
