Job Description
- Lead and maintain the standard costing system across multiple facilities.
- Ensure accurate valuation of physical inventory and part-standard costs.
- Analyze and report cost variances including period-end and job close variances.
- Prepare inventory reconciliations and manage excess/obsolete inventory reserves.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process through data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize ERP and cost reporting systems.
- Uphold compliance with accounting regulations and internal policies.
- Coach and mentor team members fostering communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (aviation preferred).
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems; MS Dynamics AX experience a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and complex formulas.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
