Note:
Candidates must have experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing or aerospace environment and be proficient with ERP systems (Dynamics AX experience preferred).

Job Description

Lead and maintain the standard costing system across multiple facilities.
Ensure accurate valuation of physical inventory and part-standard costs.
Analyze and report cost variances including period-end and job close variances.
Prepare inventory reconciliations and manage excess/obsolete inventory reserves.
Support the budgeting and forecasting process through data-driven insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize ERP and cost reporting systems.
Uphold compliance with accounting regulations and internal policies.
Coach and mentor team members fostering communication and collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (aviation preferred).
Strong proficiency with ERP systems; MS Dynamics AX experience a plus.
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and complex formulas.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
