Job Summary
The Solutions Architect can be based in Austin TX or alternatively one of our GSS locations in North this role you will help design and create advanced supply chain solutions for our existing and future customers. Working together with internal and external subject matter experts you will analyze customers needs and create tailor-made solutions leveraging Flex advanced supply chain and logistics offerings for internal and external customers.
What a Typical Day Looks Like:
Working with cross-functional teams creating winning innovative and customer specific solutions with speed and efficiency
Propose and/or design Customer technical solutions which include creating demos and proofs of concept with Innovative Supply chain solutions
Provide consistent feedback from the market to Product Management and Development teams and coordinate gaps between product functionality and customer requirements
Process - model the Customer specific solution understanding flows volumes etc. and interface with other areas of Flex to obtain the data required
Ensure that all technical and business requirements of the customer / prospect are clearly understood and articulate how our solutions can meet them
Ensure knowledge and best practice transfer throughout the organization
Ensure effective transitions (new customer introductions and exits) by working closely with the ops team and setting up a transition to account management team
Solve customers business issues with GSS technology brainstorming with cross functional teams on technical propositions to enhance customer value add
Lead supply chain workshops with customers
The Experience Were Looking to Add to Our Team:
Degree in business finance supply chain engineering or similar
3 years of experience in supply chain management logistics or similar
Strong analytical thinking skills in order to analyze and understand complex supply chain challenges
Ideally previous experience doing supply chain and data analysis
Strong MS Excel skills are required in this role
Excellent English communication skills in order to work together with global stakeholders
Willingness to travel up to 30% on average
