Job Summary
IT Healthcare Project Manager
Columbia South Carolina (Onsite)

Required:
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
- 3 years of experience in project management in a healthcare insurance OR information technology environment.
- 3 years of experience working with SharePoint and other typical project management tools including Visio PowerPoint MS Project Word Access and Excel.
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent people and leadership skills
- Strong background in project management within a healthcare insurance information technology environment
- Project planning experience including effort estimation and resource allocation
- Superb written and oral communication skills
- Willingness and ability to effectively engage with people and organizations on a continuous basis
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Medicaid or other healthcare claims system(s) IT projects
- Experience working with risk management including risk triggers and managing risks to project plan tasks.
Specific Skills:
- Expertise in project management methodologies and lifecycle
- Strong command of SharePoint MS Project and Visio
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel Word PowerPoint Access)
- Excellent communication documentation and coordination skills
- Skilled in risk and issue management stakeholder engagement and project tracking
