The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Assembler / Soldering. This position is responsible for the assembly of complex fuel control units.

Additionally the Assembler will:

Fabricate electrical and/or mechanical assemblies
Follow manufacturing planning for instructions and inspection requirements.
Perform wire cutting stripping dressing ends and other simple cable operations
Solder wires and other electronic components
Perform assembly operations or inspection under microscope or other magnifying device as required
Perform intermediate assembly tasks such as potting encapsulating sanding cleaning epoxy bonding curing arbor pressing
Assemble bearings pistons O-rings seals springs etc. into machined housings
Verify dimensions and or performance using standard measuring instruments
Other job related task as assigned

Currently hiring for 2nd Assemblers / Soldering

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and understand advanced manufacturing planning instructions
2 years of hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical assemblies
- 1-2 years of experience in electrical soldering and wire crimping is a plus
- 1-2 years in using precision tools fixture and measuring equipment is desirable
Ability to read and assemble parts from manufacturing planning instructions
Ability to perform detailed work requiring fine motor skills
Capable of lifting 50 pounds from floor to height of 25 inches capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds have a grip strength of at least 50 pounds and be able to reach above shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum).
Responsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work including as a minimum all elements defined in the Companys Quality Policy

Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed.
