Center for Bone & Joint Surgery is a multi-location medical practice devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of injuries and diseases of the bodys musculoskeletal system. Our locations feature a staff of highly trainedorthopedic surgeons each with a specific area of expertise.
Center for Bone & Joint Surgery of the Palm Beaches offers a team approach to your care and provides a variety of services right on campus designed for your convenience and ensuring an outstanding continuum of care. These include on-site X-ray on-site MRI on-site physical therapy and aquatic therapy.
Center for Bone and Joint Surgery is seeking Information Technology (IT) professionals to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist your duties will include effective provisioning installation/configuration operation and maintenance of information systems (hardware and software) and technical support for related infrastructure. This position participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
The Information Technology (IT) Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the system hardware operating systems software systems and related procedures adhere to organizational goals and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for desktops laptops printers and other IT equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware software and network connectivity issues.
- Set up configure and maintain Windows workstations and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts security groups and permissions within Active Directory.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications email and Teams collaboration tools.
- Assist with deployment and updates of software applications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and asset inventory.
- Collaborate with vendors and other IT team members on system upgrades and troubleshooting.
- Travel between practice locations as needed for onsite support.
- Participate in after-hours or weekend maintenance and on-call rotations as required.
Desired Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Education:Associates degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:2 years of experience in IT support or technical help desk role.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of computer hardware operating systems and software fundamentals.
Experience with network troubleshooting (wired and wireless).
Familiarity with Active Directory user and group management.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Windows 10/11 and related applications.
Understanding of security best practices and data protection principles.
Certifications: CompTIA A or Network preferred but not required.
Other Requirements:
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for travel between sites.
Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Schedule and Compensation
- Full-time Monday through Friday with occasional after-hours and weekend work as needed.
