The coach will work closely with the athletes to enhance their skills and foster team cohesion while maintaining a high level of performance. The Head Coach will help foster a positive team culture focusing on both individual athlete growth and collective Team success in preparation and during international competition. Scope of Services- Work USA Football Scouting/Talent Identification events for USA Football
- United States National Team Trials (March 2026)
- Preparation and training leading into the 2026 Junior International Cup (JIC)
- United States National Team Training Camps (April and May 2026)
- Coach the United States Boys Flag National Team at JIC 2026
- Assist in USAFBs football resource development
- Biweekly virtual meetings with the Boys Junior National Team
- Execute and adhere to USA Football MAAPP
- Other duties as naturally connected to Coachs role with USAFB
Experience and Eligibility Requirements- Applicants must have a minimum of four years flag football coaching experience.
- Applicants must have a minimum of one year head coaching experience.
- Applicants must be an active USA Football Coach and Commissioner member.
- Applicants must successfully complete the appropriate U.S. Center for SafeSports online training prior to March 1 2026.
- A must complete Abuse Prevention Training prior to February 2026.
- Applicants must pass a background screening through the National Center for Safety Initiatives.
- Applicants must possess a valid U.S. Passport or be able to attain a valid U.S. passport by June 30 2026.
Preferred Education and ExperienceOne year flag football coaching experience under the International Federation of American Football rules and format of 5v5 noncontact flag football. Physical DemandsThis is an active coaching position and will require the coach to be on their feet for 5 hours per day during camps and competitions. Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a remote contract position. TravelTravel within the United States will be required.
