Exciting Opportunity: Operator 1 Cannabis Production
Join our dynamic production team and play a key role in cannabis processing. Reporting to the Production Shift Supervisor the Operator 1 ensures safe accurate and efficient execution of labelers and some semi-automated equipment in compliance with cGMP standards. This hands-on role supports daily production activities equipment operation and quality control in a fast-paced environment.
What Youll Be Doing
- Reviewing batch records and identifying necessary equipment and raw materials
- Verifying ingredient codes and quantities match batch instructions
- Monitoring production processes and ensuring product quality
- Cleaning and setting up equipment between batches
- Performing sampling for lab analysis and updating logbooks
- Maintaining a clean organized and safe work environment
- Following all SOPs safety protocols and cGMP requirements
- Collaborating with the Shift Supervisor to meet real-time production goals
- Supporting general housekeeping and equipment storage activities
- Performing other related duties as assigned
What Were Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Mechanically inclined with solid math skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks safely
- Knowledge of cGMP is a strong asset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must pass a background check
