Job Summary and Responsibilities
Is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan Joint Commission and other licensing accrediting and regulatory agencies. Plans directs manages/conducts and evaluates educational activities in Critical Care areas and programs which include general nursing mandatory education and nursing addition he/she provides support and direction for patient management and standards for quality patient care.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- CA RN and BLS required. INSTRUCTOR-BLS ACLS status required within 1 year of hire.
- PALSprovider required within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum offour (4)years of recent clinical experience in an acute care setting.
- Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications.
- BSN required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint Skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three (3) years of experience in education and staff development preferred.
- ACLS/PALS preferred.
Special Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work with employees from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
- Able to work with staff and public under a variety of circumstances.
- Work at a fast pace in an active work environment
