Shift: Evening 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care to patients in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting. As a PRN team member you will have the flexibility to work on an as-needed basis covering various shifts to meet patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitoring: Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing staff.
- Assistance: Assist with patient assessments and evaluations.
- Wound Care: Provide wound care and dressing changes.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Education: Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Required Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of New Jersey.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an LPN.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
