Position: Formulation Technician I

Location: Sunnyvale CA 94085

Duration: 12 Months

Job Type: Contract

Work Type: Onsite

Shift: Monday to Friday from 02:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Summary:

Work as part of a team in a manufacturing laboratory responsible for synthesizing and testing ion exchange media used in chromatography consumables. Focus on producing high-quality products while maintaining a safe and organized lab environment.

Responsibilities:

Test resin products using specialized instruments to meet customer demand.
Record and report test results accurately maintaining proper documentation.
Complete production work-orders following established procedures.
Adhere to corporate quality policies and safety requirements.
Actively participate in safety improvement activities.
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Required Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in manufacturing operations production or a laboratory setting in either academic or industrial background.
Knowledge of Good Laboratory and Manufacturing Practices (GLP/GMP).
Strong mathematical problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read and follow written procedures (SOPs) and verbal instructions.
Familiarity with hand tools (e.g. wrenches torque drivers tweezers).
Basic PC literacy including experience with spreadsheet and database software.
Physical ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds and perform lab tasks involving standing sitting walking and using hands/fingers.
Visual acuity to detect small components and particles.
Willingness to work in environments with chemical exposure moving mechanical parts moderate noise and wearing required PPE.
