Job Summary

Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3x12s 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Pay Rate: $2451 Weekly Gross
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the ICU Step-Down team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced post-surgical and cardiac vascular step-down environment. This position involves evaluating patients implementing nursing interventions and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate plan implement and document nursing care based on patient needs.
Identify and prioritize patient care requirements through assessment planning intervention and evaluation.
Develop and coordinate individualized care plans through continuous assessments.
Initiate assessments based on patient conditions medical diagnoses and nursing frameworks.
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care throughout hospitalization.
Maintain accurate documentation per established standards of care and patient acuity.
Promote evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
Provide patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing practice models.
Float to other units within competency as required.
Support post-surgical and cardiac vascular step-down unit operations.
Required Education
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
Preferred Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Required Certifications & Licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS AHA)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS AHA)
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
CEU Stroke Education (4 Contact Hours)
Telemetry Certification
Active New Jersey RN License or Compact Multistate License
