Job Summary

Our client is a leading distributor of technology services and lifestyle products in Sub-Saharan Africa. They currently have an opening for a CISCO Network PreSales Engineer to be based in Lagos Nigeria.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced CISCO Network Presales Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a professional with deep expertise in Cisco Routing & Switching Security and Network Solutions Design.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement secure scalable network solutions using Cisco routers switches firewalls and wireless controllers.
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco IOS (OSPF BGP EIGRP).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Cisco solutions into enterprise infrastructure.
Support sales efforts with technical expertise proposals and presentations.
Act as a trusted advisor on Cisco products and third-party integrations.
Deliver PoCs ROI studies and custom solutions using APIs.
Assist with budgeting system specs and technical documentation.

Core Competencies

Networking: Cisco IOS Nexus routing protocols QoS NAT subnetting.
Security: Cisco ASA Meraki VPNs IPS.
Wireless: Cisco wireless controllers and access points.
Virtualization & Cloud: VMware Active Directory hybrid environments.
Collaboration Tools: Microsoft Teams Zoom WebEx Skype for Business.
Certifications: CCNA or CCNP (Enterprise) required; additional Cisco certs are a plus.

Requirements

35 years in technical sales and network engineering roles.
Strong communication presentation and customer engagement skills.
Experience with UC protocols (H.323 SIP) and enterprise collaboration platforms.
Proven ability to deliver under pressure and manage multiple projects.
