CGI is looking for strong Performance Test Engineer Sr who will be responsible to handle multiple performance test projects. Support / Coordinate end-to-end performance test lifecycle and work hands on deliverables. Ideal candidate should be able to develop Performance Test framework and work on creating assets/accelerators. The role demands expertise on Performance tools like Apache JMeter Load Runner etc..

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Candidate must have an agile mindset; An expert in Scaled Agile delivery model experienced with agile ceremonies such as daily scrums spring planning sprint reviews and sprint demos
Design develop and maintain accurate and reusable performance test scripts for various application protocols (e.g. HTTP/S APIs Web Services) using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Collaborate with the onshore team to understand business processes and translate them into realistic performance test scenarios.
Execute different types of performance tests (e.g. load stress endurance scalability) as per the test plan and direction from the Onshore Lead.
Monitor system performance metrics (e.g. CPU memory disk I/O network usage) during test runs to identify resource bottlenecks.
Maintain constant communication with BAs LOB and Onshore counterparts
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills

5-7 years of experience working with performance testing tool -JMeter/LoadRunner/NeoLoad with Solid scripting skills.
Understanding of common network protocols (HTTP/S TCP/IP) and web technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript).
Basic to intermediate knowledge of application architectures- client-server microservices with working knowledge on Webservices test tools like - Postman/SoapUI/Swagger.
Familiarity with database concepts and ability to write basic SQL queries for data setup or validation.
Exposure to performance monitoring tools- Dynatrace/Splunk/Grafana/AppDynamics to interpret system metrics.
Strong analytical skills to interpret performance graphs logs and identify potential bottlenecks.
Ability to troubleshoot basic issues during script development and test execution with attention to detail in identifying performance anomalies.
Ability to articulate technical issues clearly and concisely with a collaborative mindset capable of working effectively in a distributed team environment.
Good exposure to agile testing process.
Candidate should be excellent in testing process defect management.
Should have excellent communication skill to manage day to day interactions with agile team.
Good understanding of Agile project management/ DevOps tools.
