Job Summary

Under general supervision the Journey Technician II conducts complex and difficult auto mechanic work including repair and maintenance of gas diesel and heavy equipment. Employee diagnoses adjusts re-aligns and/or repairs automobiles trucks buses and all types of City vehicles including diesel and/or gasoline powered on and off-road equipment with little to no assistance. Employee has daily contact with the public and other departments which requires simple courtesies and exercise of tact and diplomacy.
