Position Overview
Dhaka Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced Project Leader Advanced to support statewide Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Business Services initiatives. This role is responsible for coordinating planning and ensuring successful delivery of IT project-oriented work efforts. The Project Leader will work closely with project teams local workforce boards and state-level stakeholders to ensure timely completion quality outcomes and compliance with program goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the coordination planning and execution of small to medium-sized moderately complex IT projects.
Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
Assemble project plans assign tasks monitor progress and track milestones against objectives.
Perform daily oversight of project work efforts quality reviews and risk mitigation activities.
Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders including cross-functional teams program managers and executive sponsors.
Provide WIOA Business Services training to Floridas 21 Local Workforce Development Boards (LWDBs) ensuring consistent understanding and implementation across the state.
Develop and deliver training on the following WIOA Business Services areas:
Recruitment & Hiring Assistance: Job postings candidate screening job fairs and customized hiring events.
Work-Based Learning Opportunities: On-the-Job Training (OJT) Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) Apprenticeships and Work Experience programs.
Layoff Aversion & Rapid Response: Early intervention strategies for companies at risk of downsizing.
Labor Market Intelligence: Guidance on data related to wages occupational trends and regional skills analysis.
Customized Training Solutions: Support employer-driven upskilling and workforce training aligned to business needs.
Connections to Incentives: Promote awareness of tax credits grants and workforce development funding opportunities.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 3 years of IT work experience including at least 2 years in project management roles.
Proficiency in project management methodologies resource planning and change management.
Experience with WIOA Business Services programs and strong understanding of workforce development systems.
Strong communication leadership and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
PMP CAPM or similar project management certification.
Experience working with state or local government workforce programs.
Familiarity with workforce data systems training grants and employer engagement strategies.
