A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HVAC TECH HELPER
As an HVAC Tech Helper you are eager to learn! You go out in the field with installers and technicians to assist them. As you assist them they mentor and train you on everything from how to talk with customers to how to properly install and service equipment. You ask questions observe and emulate the values we adhere to here at NorthPort. A hard worker who is always willing to do what is asked you also complete duct cleanings organize our shop complete pickups handle returns and run errands. You are excited to be part of our team and cant wait to learn more about this essential skilled trade!
The main service area is in Jacksonville but you will also work jobs in St. Augustine (St. Johns) Fernandina Beach (Nassau County) Macclenny (Baker County) Orange Park (Clay County).
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN HVAC TECH HELPER
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work from heights or small crawl spaces
- Ability and willingness to work outside in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to use tools safely
- Valid drivers license and a good driving record
Some experience is preferred but we can provide training for the right person.
